This is my first post! My first complaint is verizon's new $9.99/month data plan, which is required if you decide to sign up/renew a 2 year contract with them - its basically required if you want to get a decent phone. So you either have to buy this data plan, or the one above it for $30/month, otherwise you are limited to their crappy selection of phones. They are essentially forcing the customer, that doesn't want to get one of their crappiest phones, to shell out en extra $10 bucks of their hard earned cash per month!
I don't want to check my damn email on my cell phone, but unless I want to use one of their poorly designed cheap phones, then I am screwed into signing up for a $9.99 data plan that I will never use.
They probably schemed one day to see how they could screw their customers out of more money. Bottom line: if you want a new, good quality cell phone from verizon, you will likely have to buy a data plan, or you cannot get the phone you want! For a family plan, that will add at least $10 bucks a line per month!
